It’s That Time of Year – Time for State Fairs!

Mighty Midway

It’s State Fair Season

Have you ever met someone who tried to go to all 50 state fairs? There are a few who have this goal because each state is so different, it gives you a find, wild, noisy and definitely festive snapshot of what each state has to offer.

Attending your state or local fair helps support your local farmers as you learn first hand what they do and how. Your children get to learn about the history of your state, agriculture, farming, animals, crafts, foods, wild food concoctions (fried soda?) and so much more. Then there are the concerts, rides, games, exhibitions, stunts, magic shows, well, we could go on, but based on your state you may have wildly different attractions each year.

Tell us your favorite thing about your state fair in comments.  We’re going with clam fritters, NOT immediately followed by rides.
